Rafael Righi has a degree in Computer Science (2003) and also has a master's degree in Computer Science in the area of systems security and encryption algorithms (2005). He currently works at Fortinet as CSE (Consulting Systems Engineer) in the Secops domain and in next generation SOC, focused on FortiSIEM, FortiSOAR and FortiRecon solutions. He helps the customers and partners to understand deep aspects of the solutions, perform pre-sales activities and delivers Proof of Concepts for SOC solutions. Before Fortinet he worked in Telecommunications companies (MPLS, BGP, security, asset monitoring) and for an Israeli company in the area of Threat Analytics and intelligence, where he acquired experience on CSOC main components, national CSIRT, needs and methodology and framework ATT&CK. He has also served as a technology instructor and university professor in the field of networking and security.
